Over the New Year's holiday, we've been enjoying the theater quite a bit. Early on New Year's Eve, we watched the movie Hairspray. I didn't know much about it, but it turned out to be a great pick. Here's what it looked like:
After the movie, SJCK and I took a walk around the sub. It was about 10:30 and it was pretty quiet. I enjoyed the walk.
We watched the Capitol One Bowl on New Year's Day with the Swansons and Jim and Edna Mae. Nice job to UM for pulling out the win against Florida. It was a great way to send Lloyd Carr into retirement.
Also of importance tonight was a comment from Curt Swanson which led us to thinking of naming our theater "The Victors Theater." RCK and I are talking things over now and will certainly consider this name. It seems a great choice. Curt is the smiling fellow in the middle of the picture below.

Likin' the surround sound though I must admit listening to Herbstreit already makes me sick, but now, in surround sound?! Arg.
