April Workout Totals
Monday is a day off, so here are the monthly totals:
Total exercise this month: 32.3 hours
Swim: 7525 yards (injured shoulder for a good part of month)
Bike: 281 miles
Run: 67 miles - including speed and VO2 max sessions
Good month. In the time I've been recording my totals during these masters years, this month is the highest in terms of overall time spent working out. I'm pretty sure May will be higher ... and June and July.
I had more fatigue this month, especially the last week of the month during the recovery week, than I had anticipated. Getting a couple hours extra sleep on Saturday and Sunday morning was helpful in mitigating those issues however.
At times I wake up in the morning and feel very nervous and realize I'm thinking about the swim start of IMMT. Then I engage in self-talk to calm myself. Really. I find it a bit funny.
