Welcome

This is the Men's Land Home Theater Build site. Welcome from Kevin and Ryan, the men of our home. We're in charge of this site and of the construction that started in our basement during the fall of 2006.

Our purpose is to chronicle our construction progress. Archived in electronic glory, it may be that our findings/postings will be helpful to others. At the least, this will serve as a reminder to us of our fun exploits!

While we've struggled with the name for the theater, we should give credit to Glen, Uncle Cal's brother in law for the "men's land" terminology. While visiting Glen in TC in the summer of '06, we talked about "Man's Land" at his house which is otherwise filled with as many as three women. Obviously, he too, needs a cave in which to retreat at times. Glen--thanks for your words. I'm not sure if the final name of our project will continue as the "Men's Land Home Theater," but I do think we'll never forget our inspiration.
