Acoustics Inquiry Continued

I've read many directions on how to acoustically treat a theater-type room for sound.

Click HERE for what seems to make sense.
A couple other pieces of useful info:

  1. An email to me from Ethan Winer:
    Hi Kevin,

Reading a review of your products, it said you sell OC 705 FRK panels. Is
that still true? If yes, how much are they? < href="http://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/postlist/Board/24/page/1">

  2. Something I found on a discussion forum from Ethan Winer that I'll want to remember when the time comes:
Earl, I second Jim's suggestion to make bass traps at least 4 inches thick. If you can fit 6 or even 8 inches thick, all the better. I'll also point out that the FRK facing is not bad, at least not for bass trapping. If you look at the published data for rigid fiberglass you'll see that the faced types absorb more at bass frequencies than the unfaced types. But for general mid/high frequency absorption and first reflection treatment you do not want the facing. So just put that side toward the wall.
