Dear Sir, the recall you mentioned covers tables built before March of 2004. The issue is the metal screen that covers the intake opening. The diameter of the openings in the metal mesh, is just big enough for very small fingers. To prevent small children from sticking their fingers in the holes, we developed a air box to be mounted over the blower motor. To know if your table has already been fixed already, just look under the bottom. If you can see the blower, your table has not been fixed and we can send you a cover.
As to the scoring. If you take off the plastic cover that the puck fails into when you score, you will see a metal wire that looks a lot like a thin paper clip bent straight.
To score correctly this wire needs to only stick out 1/4 inch past the wall. If it sticks out to far your pucks will not score and even on get stuck. If it is shorter you will get missed scores and double scores. To adjust bend the wire from the inner wall.
I hope this helps.
